Who am I

A picture of my face, taken on top of a carpark in Loughborough.

I am Jim Keane, I currently work for Jisc as the Data engineering solutions manager, though I also still leading on wellbeing analytics too as a carry over from my last role as Senior analytics consultant – wellbeing.

Primarily I work on data/systems analysis, reporting, process improvement, systems delivery, consultations, evaluations, and the odd blog post – though I regularly end up doing voiceovers on videos.

I originally came to Hull to do my undergraduate degree in Theology in 1999 and found a home for myself and eventually my family.

I worked for the University of Hull on a part-time basis during my degree and held a number of full-time roles their since 2002 (Assistive Technology Technician, Business and Systems Analyst, Project Manager) and was also a Halls of Residence Warden for 16 years until the University mothballed the last of its traditionally managed stock in 2019.

I left the University of Hull two years after we moved out of the Lawns and I have worked at Jisc since November 2021.
